ZTE unveils the Axon 30 Ultra Space Edition with 18 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage for ~US$1,095
ZTE has revealed the Axon 30 Ultra Space Edition, having teased the device last week on Weibo. As expected, the Space Edition retains all the Axon 30 Ultra's core features, including its design. The Axon 30 Ultra was no slouch with its Snapdragon 888 and 16 GB of RAM, but ZTE has pushed the Space Edition's memory configuration even further.
Specifically, the Space Edition has more memory than most laptops, with 18 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. According to ZTE, its new smartphone is the world's first to offer 18 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage simultaneously. The company considers this memory configuration so important that it has adorned it in gold on the device's camera module.
The Axon 30 Ultra Space Edition will be available in China for CNY 6,998 (~US$1,095). ZTE includes a carbon fibre case, a 65 W charger, a pair of TWS earbuds and a presentation box for that price, as the photo below shows. Overall though, the Space Edition and the regular Axon 30 Ultra are almost identical. Hence, it seems unlikely that ZTE will release the device globally.
