MagyarMSI becomes official partner of Complexity Gaming eSports team
Major companies like Intel, Razer, HP, Dell, and Asus have been investing more in the eSports world to the point where some have even been hosting major tournaments worldwide. HP Omen, for example, was the official sponsor of the 2018 Overwatch League and so all players were provided with Omen-branded monitors, mice, PCs, and other equipment. Now, MSI will be looking to do the same with U.S.-based eSports team Complexity Gaming.
According to the press release below, all Complexity Gaming players will receive MSI PCs, laptops, monitors, motherboards, and more in order to "help the team stay competitive at the highest level". In return, however, the eSports team would be barred from training publicly on other hardware as MSI would be the exclusive provider.
The announcement is likely an indirect response to the recent partnership between Dell Alienware and Team Liquid where players from Team Liquid are encouraged to promote or favor Alienware PCs over alternatives. By securing its own eSports team, MSI can secure itself a stronger presence to eSports fans and in live broadcasts.
Complexity Gaming is most notable for its accomplishments in DOTA 2 having placed 5th in the International 2018 North America Qualifier round.

MSI's hardware will help further Complexity Gaming's goal of professionalizing the esports industry by providing it's esports athletes with the tools to succeed in world-class competition. The GameStop Performance Center, the training hub for the team, will showcase the latest advancements in technology, including eye-tracking, performance-based data analytics, collaborative digital content creation, and more.
