Lightweight Panther Lake Mechrevo laptop debuts with powerful Arc B390 iGPU

Mechrevo has showcased a new lightweight laptop in China, the 14 Ultra. It's powered by the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H, a performance-focused processor from the Panther Lake lineup.
It comes with the Intel Arc B390, a capable iGPU that can offer much better performance than the Arc 140T found in the Arrow Lake lineup. In our benchmarks, it was close to the RTX 2060 Laptop GPU, meaning that it can smoothly run most games with the visual settings dialed down.
The company has previously revealed that the gaming laptop can deliver 40W of performance. Mechrevo has paired this Intel Panther Lake CPU with 32GB of DDR5 RAM, but the total memory support hasn't been revealed. It also seems that there will be only one configuration with a 1TB SSD (2TB Samsung 9100 Pro curr. $399.99 on Amazon).
Another big highlight of the laptop is its thin and light design. Mechrevo claims that it weighs only 1.1kg, about 2.42lbs, and the official pictures suggest that it has a relatively thin chassis as well.
While it's a thin and light laptop, Mechrevo has managed to pack a 70Wh battery, which should offer good runtime, especially given the power efficiency of the Panther Lake chipset. There's support for 100W PD, and the initial pictures suggest that there will be at least one USB-C and two USB-A ports.
As for the screen, the laptop has a 14-inch QHD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It's likely an IPS panel as Mechrevo didn't mention OLED during the showcase. There's no official word on the release date, but it could launch soon in China and later in other markets. Pricing details haven't been disclosed either.
