Lenovo rumoured to be launching new budget Android tablet later this year with 5G connectivity
A new Google Play Console listing suggests that Lenovo is about to release a new budget tablet. Officially, the company has not commented on the release of a new tablet yet. However, the Google Play Console is now showing results for 'Lenovo LET02', the apparent model number the Tab M10a 5G.
Likely submitted to Google by Lenovo itself, the listing reveals a few details about the forthcoming tablet. On the one hand, the listing contains a solitary device image in which four relatively thick but uniform bezels can be seen. On the other hand, the listing also mentions an SM6350 SoC, Qualcomm's codename for the Snapdragon 690 5G. Thus, the Tab M10a 5G should arrive later this year with two ARM Cortex-A77 cores clocked at 2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores restricted to 1.7 GHz, as well as an Adreno 619 GPU.
Additionally, the Google Play Console outlines that the Tab M10a 5G has 4 GB of RAM, and a display that outputs at 1,200 x 2,000 pixels with a 240 PPI. While full specifications and pricing remain unknown for now, the inclusion of Android 13 rather than Android 14 indicates that the Lenovo Tab M10a 5G will be a budget option in Lenovo's product stack. Ultimately, it remains to be seen how Lenovo will distinguish the Tab M10a 5G from the current Tab M10 5G that we reviewed late last year.
