MWC 2024 | Honor Pad 9: New mid-range Android tablet arrives in Europe and the UK with launch discount
Honor has revealed the Pad 9 as part of its MWC 2024 event, where it has also showcased the MagicBook Pro 16, Magic6 Pro, Magic6 RSR and Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design for European audiences. For reference, Honor unveiled the Pad 9 over two months ago in China, details of which we have covered separately. In summary, the Honor Pad 9 contains the following hardware:
- 12.1-inch IPS display, 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, 120 Hz refresh rate, 500 nits brightness
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 display
- 8,300 mAh battery, 35 W wired charging
- 13 MP rear-facing & 8 MP front-facing cameras
Additionally, Honor has included 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, all within a 278.2 x 180.1 x 6.9 mm housing that weighs 555 g. Not only has the company has revealed Eurozone pricing for the Pad 9, but it has also confirmed how much the tablet costs in the UK. Specifically, the tablet will be available from later today in the Eurozone for €349 with a complimentary keyboard accessory and a 10% coupon reducing its launch pricing to €315.
By contrast, the Pad 9 can be purchased in the UK for £299.99 from Honor directly or through Argos, Amazon, Currys and Very. Honor adds that the Pad 9 can also be purchased with a keyboard accessory, which retails for £349.99. However, the company is offering a £50 discount code on Pad 9 and keyboard accessory orders, making it as cheap as buying the tablet itself.
