Lenovo releases new desktop internationally with Intel Lunar Lake and 100 Hz display
Lenovo has released a new Apple iMac competitor internationally (curr. $1,424 on Amazon). Currently, Apple sells the iMac with an M4 chipset and a 60 Hz display. By contrast, the IdeaCentre AIO 24ILL11 comes with a 100 Hz display, regardless of whether you opt for a non-touch or multi-touch panel.
Additionally, Lenovo includes the Core Ultra 5 226V or Core Ultra 7 256V from Intel's Lunar Lake family. For reference, these processors restrict the desktop to 16 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 RAM. However, they integrate Arc 130V and Arc 140V graphics, respectively. According to our benchmarks, only the Arc 140V outperforms the 10-core M4 iGPU in games and GPU benchmarks.
Moreover, Lenovo equips the IdeaCentre AIO 24ILL11 with an M.2 2280 (PCIe 4.0 x4) SSD and 3 W Harman-branded stereo speakers. On top of that, the desktop contains a 5 MP webcam, which sits above a 1080p IPS panel with 250 nits peak brightness, a 1,300:1 contrast ratio and 99% sRGB colour space coverage.
Pricing starts at €858-€1,190 in the Eurozone with a Core Ultra 5 226V, 16 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD. Meanwhile, the same configuration runs to AUD 1,639, HKD 6,524, MYR 3,689, SGD 1,236 and £1,030 (~$1,390) in Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and the UK, respectively. Although not yet listed in North America, Lenovo's PSREF website confirms that a global release is coming.
