Just recently, Lenovo previewed the upcoming Xiaoxin 2024 AMD Edition notebooks. They will be fully unveiled after the Spring Festival in China, which is set for February 10. Days before the official launch, the laptop maker shared some key details of the high-end notebook in the series, the Pro 16 2024 Ryzen Edition.
As Lenovo confirmed before, the entire series will feature Ryzen 7 8845H, which the company now says consumes 30.7% less power than Ryzen 7 7840HS. This automatically means that the battery life of the new Xiaoxin Pro 16 will be better. The company confirms it by claiming that laptop sees up to 40% improvement in battery life.
More specifically, Lenovo says that the Xiaoxin Pro 16 2024 Ryzen Edition can offer about 9.5 hours of runtime. In addition, the new AMD Hawk Point APU brings better NPU performance. The company claims that the new notebook can offer 60% better AI computing power.
Lenovo has also shared gaming benchmark scores of the new Ryzen notebook. With AMD Radeon 780M, the Xiaoxin Pro 16 2024 AMD Edition can run Cyberpunk 2077 at 64.75 FPS, Baldur’s Gate at 56.2 FPS, Shadow of the Tomb Raider at 63 FPS, and Elden’s Ring at 48.2 FPS. The company says all these games were benchmarked at 1920 x 1200 resolution and low to medium settings. We should get more details about the laptops soon.
