Gigabyte's refreshed G6 series of budget gaming laptops was released last fall, with its highlight being the 16-inch 1,920 x 1,200 display that can hit up to 165 Hz. Now, the higher-end KF variant can be had for just $881.99 on Amazon US, about 20% off its list price of $1,099.
Powering the notebook is an Intel Core i7-13620H (6 P-cores + 4 E-cores) joined by 16 GB of DDR5 RAM and a 512 GB PCIe 4.0 SSD (plus another PCIe 3.0 slot). This being a gaming laptop, it's also equipped with an Nvidia RTX 4060 Laptop GPU, although it's limited to 75 W TGP.
Connectivity consists of two USB-A ports (1x 5 Gbps + 1x 480 Mbps), two 10 Gbps USB-C, Mini DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI, a 3.5 mm audio combo jack, a microphone jack, a GbE LAN port, and a microSD card reader. There's also support for WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, while the 54 Wh battery can charge at up to 150 W through a barrel connector.
The G6 KF weighs 5.07 lbs (2.3 kg) and measures 14.2 x 10.4 x 1 inches (36 x 26.4 x 2.6 cm). Other features include a 15-color illuminated keyboard with a numeric pad, stereo speakers, and a 720p webcam.
