Leaker reveals next Epic Games Store free game giveaway ahead of schedule
The Epic Games Store is due to unleash a new batch of PC game giveaways tomorrow. In the meantime, the storefront is offering The Battle of Polytopia and Monument Valley 2 (curr. $4.99 on Amazon) across Android, iOS and Windows.
Incidentally, The Battle of Polytopia can be picked up on Mac too. On top of that, Ghostunner 2 can be claimed on Windows for those who missed the deal last time out. As is often the case, Redditor u/MeguminShiro has discovered Epic Games' next free mobile ahead of schedule.
Apparently, the storefront is moving towards discounting Samorost 2 for mobile gamers. Worth $3.98 when redeemed simultaneously, this week's deal should go live on September 18 at around 15:00 UTC. Typically, Epic Games does not begin discounting mobile games immediately, though.
Hence, Samorost 2 may become to free to claim a few minutes after its stated giveaway time. For reference, Samorost 2 averages 3.9/5 on the Google Play Store with over 100,000 downloads to its name. Meanwhile, the same game drops to 3.5/5 on the Apple App Store across iOS and iPadOS.
