It's been several months since Nintendo filed a lawsuit against Palworld for copying intellectual property. But although this should have slowed down the game’s developers, it seems that they want to keep it alive.
Indeed, while the trial continues, Pocketpair made an announcement on YouTube stating that version 1.0 of Palworld will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X and S and on PC via Steam in 2026, meaning early access will end at this time. Subsequently, a roadmap was also unveiled, highlighting numerous new features following its release on consoles.
But if this announcement pleases the fans of the game, the director of communication of the studios, named Bucky, specified that the team preferred not to rush and do a quality work in order to have an optimal result. In addition, the developers do not hesitate to ensure that the development of Palworld progresses quickly, despite the lawsuit filed by Nintendo.
As for the release date of the game on consoles and the end of its early access period, players should know more in the coming weeks and months. And in the meantime, Bucky warns players for the end of the year 2025, specifying that new gameplay features will be more rare. But it remains to be seen whether Nintendo's lawsuit will put the brakes on this project, and for that, only the future will tell us.
