An alleged image of the Huami Amazfit Neo has been unearthed shortly after the revelation that the Chinese company was likely working on the Amazfit GTR 2 and the Amazfit GTS 2. Initially, the code shared by MagicalUnicorn on GeekDoing only mentioned a codename for the mysterious Amazfit Neo: “Tokyo”.
Now it has been revealed what Tokyo is: The Amazfit Neo smartwatch. A miniature and some icons, which have been shared by XiaomiAdictos (see below), reveal how the Neo certainly has some resemblance to the recently released Amazfit Ares. There is a square-shaped face, a rugged aesthetic, and plenty of hardware buttons to access the numerous functions inherent in a smartwatch.
The icons for the Amazfit Neo don’t seem to reveal any secrets: There is the expected wireless connection with a smartphone and there is a “select” hardware button. The Amazfit Ares offers 70 sports modes, GPS, a heart-rate tracker, and 14-day battery life – so it’s possible the Neo might offer similar with hopefully some useful additions.
