IFA 2015 | LG G Pad II 10.1 tablet officially announced

The tablet will be launched at IFA 2015. It will be powered by Snapdragon 800 and feature a 1920x 1200 display.

LG has just announced that it will launch their new LG G Pad II 10.1 tablet at IFA 2015 in Berlin in early September. The company has also unveiled full specification of the upcoming device.

The LG G Pad II 10.1 will come with a 10-inch IPS screen with 1920 x 1200 resolution. The tablet will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, clocked at 2.26 GHz, as well as 2 GB of RAM. The 16 GB of on-board storage space (partially taken by the OS) will be expandable via microSD card slot.

Connectivity options include: 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, an optional LTE cat. 4 module and a micro-USB port. The battery capacity is 7400 mAh. There are also two cameras on the tablet: a 5 MP on the back, and 2 MP on front.

LG G Pad II 10.1 is 7.8 mm thin and weighs just over 1 pound (489 grams). The device runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and comes with dual-window capability.

Details of price and availability will be announced during the official launch at IFA 2015.
