LG has just launched the second generation of its G Pad 8.3 tablet. The device comes with an 8.3-inch 1920 x 1200 resolution display and is powered by an octa-core, 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, supported by 2 GB of RAM and Adreno 405 graphics processing unit. On top of that, the LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE features a stylus and, as the name implies, supports LTE connectivity.
The 16 GB of storage space, partly taken by the Android 5.1.1 operating system, can be expanded by up to 128 GB via a built-in micro-SD card reader. The tablet is equipped with a 8 MP rear-facing camera as well as a 2 MP unit for selfies and video calls. It’s 8.8 mm thick, weighs 366 grams and comes with a 4,800 mAh battery.
The LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE will be available in South Korea starting tomorrow (December 23rd). Information regarding pricing and availability on other markets has not been released yet.
