Intel NUC11TNK with Core i5 now shipping for $579 USD with no RAM, OS, or storage
Intel's popular NUC11 series is set to become widely available by the end of this month. True to its name, all NUC11 models carry 11th gen Tiger Lake CPUs ranging from the Core i3-111G5 up to the Core i7-1165G7 or vPro-enabled i7-1185G7.
SimplyNUC.com has begun offering a handful of NUC11 configurations including our recently reviewed NUC11TNKi5 Pro Mini for $579 USD. The lower-end Core i3 and higher-end Core i7 options are also available for $429 and $725, respectively. Users will have to supply their own RAM, OS, and storage since these are barebone kits.
As usual, the prices for the new NUC11 series are generally higher than most other mini PCs. The Beelink SEi10 and GMK NucBox 2, for example, retail for $400 and $500, respectively, complete with RAM, OS, storage, and even Thunderbolt support depending on the model. Users interested in an Intel NUC will have to value its fast 11th gen processor, higher build quality, and longer three-year limited warranty relative to other cheaper alternatives.
