Pininfarina, known for shaping icons such as the Ferrari Testarossa and Alfa Romeo Spider, is bringing nearly a century of design heritage to mobile technology for the first time. The studio’s signature blend of elegance and performance is set to influence every aspect of the Infinix Note 60 Ultra’s design, a move that represents a new chapter for both brands. Infinix enters this partnership amid strong global momentum. According to IDC’s Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker, the company recorded the highest quarter-on-quarter shipment growth in Southeast Asia in Q2 2025. By pairing this rising market presence with Pininfarina’s reputation for timeless aesthetics, the companies aim to redefine expectations for high-end smartphone craftsmanship.
“As we collaborate with leading partners across different fields, we are steadily advancing Infinix’s journey toward premiumization,” said Tony Zhao, CEO of Infinix. He emphasized that the partnership with Pininfarina marks a strategic shift toward investing more deeply in high-end design, starting with the Note 60 Series.
For Pininfarina, the project represents a deliberate expansion into new territory. “Partnering with Infinix has been a great opportunity both to express Pininfarina’s legacy of Italian design excellence in the realm of technology and to apply our principles - the combination of beauty and performance — to enrich the user experience,” said Fabio Calorio, the company’s Senior Vice President of Brand.
A teaser image released alongside the announcement hints at a sleek new aesthetic direction, with full details on the Note 60 Ultra’s design philosophy, features, and availability expected in the coming days. Furthermore, this should not be a short-lived affair, but rather a partnership that will continue at least into the next generation.
