Xiaomi has now confirmed its initial global release plans for HyperOS 3, its next major OS update. To recap, Xiaomi currently splits its HyperOS 3 Rollout Schedule into three batches running between this month and March 2026. Shortly before that, Xiaomi published an equivalent update for the Chinese market, which included devices specific to that market, like Mix Fold foldables and the Redmi K series.
As we have discussed previously, a few older recent smartphones like the Xiaomi 11T series have now received their final updates. Consequently, they are out of the running to move up to HyperOS 3. Even then, some HyperOS 3 eligible devices will miss out on features like Hyper Island, including the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus (curr. $415 on Amazon).
With Xiaomi's HyperOS 3 release schedules now set until the spring, it is now clear which devices have been left out of the company's plans. For instance, the Poco X5 Pro 5G will reach end-of-life status by February 2026, which should be the month when it receives its final security update. To that end, Xiaomi has not included the device on its list of HyperOS 3-eligble devices. Currently, the following Poco, Redmi and Xiaomi devices that have not been included in official HyperOS 3 rollout plans and will reach end-of-life status this year:
