EA FC 26 is off to an incredible start and is already breaking records, especially on PlayStation. According to a new report shared by Alinea Analytics in its latest newsletter, the game is performing better than any other sports game released in 2025 so far.
The report reveals that EA FC 26 has sold over 5.5 million copies on PlayStation alone in just its first week. This is a huge number and puts the game far ahead of other popular sports titles.
To give you an idea of how big this is, FC 26 sold more copies in its first week on PlayStation than NBA, College Football, MLB The Show, and Madden did combined. What’s even more impressive is that the game is selling 1.4 times faster than last year’s EA FC 25 during the same launch period.
However, it’s important to note that the 5.5 million sales figure is only for PlayStation. If we look at total sales across all platforms, EA FC 26 has already reached over 9 million downloads worldwide in just a short time after launch.
Most of the sales have come from PlaySation, which makes up 67.5% of the total copies sold. Xbox holds the second spot with 26.9%, while Steam (PC) accounts for just 5.7% of the total sales.
