Huawei has teased the Eyewear 2 Sunglasses, which will be revealed later this month. The new wearable will debut at the Huawei Summer 2024 launch event on May 15th. Other products expected to be shown at the conference include the GoPaint app, which was recently unveiled at an event in Dubai.
The Eyewear 2 Sunglasses appeared in a black and white teaser poster shared on Weibo. This shows a pair of sunglasses that look to have a black square frame with silver accents and tinted lenses. Whether this will be the only frame shape and color on offer remains to be seen. Huawei indicates that the audio sunglasses will have similar features to the Eyewear 2, with an open acoustic design allowing you to take calls or listen to music for up to 11 hours on a single charge. The original model lets you connect to two devices simultaneously and features touch controls. Plus, thanks to a titanium alloy frame, these glasses are lightweight and rated as IP54 dust and water-resistant.
Further details about the Huawei Eyewear 2 Sunglasses will be revealed at the product launch conference later in May. At this time, it is unclear whether the wearables will launch in other countries at a later date.
