Huawei has already added an 11-inch variant to its MatePad Pro series of tablets in 2022. However, it is now rumored to get involved in the size-spectrum trend allegedly set by the also-rumored Xiaomi Pad 6 series in offering a new screen-size option: 12.4 inches, as opposed to the 12.6 of yesteryear.
The putative tablet's specs have yet to leak in full, although it is said to match its smaller 2022 sibling in having a 120Hz OLED display thus far. It may also have 2 'standard' and 'Performance' variants, the latter of which is slated to add SKUs with mobile data and an option on 512GB of internal storage to the Wi-Fi only, 128-256GB choices of the former.
The "MatePad Pro 12.4" is of course slated to run HarmonyOS, which will apparently confer over 200 "PC apps" on the tablet. Its allegedly leaked promos suggest it will be up for pre-order by September 7, 2022, thus sparking speculation that it will debut alongside the Mate 50 series during their long-awaited product event.
