The Huawei Mate 60 Pro has one of the most distinctive displays on the smartphone market in that it has not merely one but two more punch-holes for front-facing sensors than usual. Its upcoming successor will do no less, according to a new leak. Then again, the 70 Pro sets itself apart in other ways.

Huawei has been projected to launch a smartphone with a total of 4 small perforations in the past. However, according to a new leak, it is not going to be the Mate 70 Pro. It allegedly rocks the triple punch-hole display pioneered by its direct predecessor in its latest hands-on photo.

The smartphone also seems to have the same quad-curved display type as the 60 Pro. However, its red power button accent seems to have disappeared in its successor, in contradiction to earlier leaks.

On that note, the button seems longer than that of the 60 Pro and also more recessed than the volume rocker next to it. Those changes are tipped to make its integrated fingerprint sensor more accurate and responsive.

The upcoming device is also thought to launch with advanced rear cameras, a new Kirin-series processor and HarmonyOS NEXT by the end of November 2024
