The Huawei Mate 70 series is expected to be announced in November. It will be the flagship lineup of smartphones from the Chinese tech giant. Previously, many leaks and rumors emerged online regarding the lineup. Now, a new leak has surfaced revealing the camera design of the upcoming series.
The leak comes from the Chinese social media site Weibo (via Huawei Central). It reveals that there will be four smartphones in the Mate 70 lineup. This includes the standard Mate 70, the Mate 70 Pro, the Mate 70 Pro+, and the Mate 70 RS Ultimate.
The leaked image showcases three camera designs. The first one is for the standard Mate 70 model. It features a circular module with cutouts for four camera sensors. There are a few more cutouts, which could be used for the color temperature lens, a laser focus sensor, or a proximity light sensor.
Meanwhile, the Mate 70 Pro and Pro Plus also offer a circular camera module, however slightly larger than the standard model. The camera design of the Mate 70 RS is also revealed in the leaked image. It keeps the iconic octagonal design language. The camera design of the Mate 70 lineup seems to differ from the last-generation Mate 60 lineup, however it resembles the two-generation-old Huawei Mate 50 series.
