The Chinese versions of the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro both have a 7,200mAh battery, and while that might seem to be the biggest battery capacity in an Honor smartphone, that isn't the case. The Honor smartphone with the largest battery capacity is the Honor Power launched in April 2025 with an 8,000mAh battery. However, it seems it won't be holding on to that title for long as the Chinese manufacturer has two new smartphones with larger battery capacities on the way.
China's 3C agency has certified two new Honor smartphones with model numbers “MTN-AN00” and “MTN-AN80” respectively. According to the info discovered in the agency's database, the two smartphones will arrive with a massive 8,100mAh rated battery capacity and a typical battery capacity of 8,200mAh — a 1,000mAh increase over that of the Honor 400 series.
In addition to packing huge batteries, the certification also reveals the two phones will have chargers with model numbers “HN-200400C00” and “HN-200400C01” which have a max power output of 80W. While it is a tad slower than the 90W fast charging of the Honor 400 Pro it is a significant boost over the 66W charging of the Honor Power.
The identities of the new phones are not known but there are speculations that they could launch as the Honor X70 or Honor Power 2.
