Honor Watch X5i launches with AMOLED display and Apple Watch inspired design for the equivalent of $33

The Honor Watch X5i looks almost exactly like an Apple Watch ($329 on Amazon). With a relatively weak processor and RTOS, Honor cannot keep up with the sheer performance and app selection of an Apple Watch, but the Honor Watch X5i should achieve a significantly longer battery life of up to three weeks.
With an active always-on display, a runtime of six days should be possible. The Honor Watch X5i uses an AMOLED display with a resolution of 450 x 390 pixels and a frame rate of 60 Hz. Honor offers over 180 watch faces. The smartwatch has a heart rate and SpO2 sensor and can display the stress level in real time. In addition to sleep and cycle tracking, the watch also features 109 sports modes, including riding, skipping rope and darts.
Integrated speakers and microphones allow calls to be made via the connected smartphone. The plastic case measures 46.7 x 40.5 x 10.9 millimetres and weighs 28.1 grams without the strap, or 41.4 grams with the strap. The Honor Watch X5i is only water-resistant to 1 ATM and therefore not suitable for swimming, but the IP68 certification at least guarantees protection in the rain and in the shower. The smartwatch is compatible with both Android and the Apple iPhone.
