OK, let’s summarize in the end. This generation of the Magic 8 series is still very excellent and very versatile. The appearance ID continues the family design, and there are clear breakthroughs in camera and AI. The performance release during the test was truly impressive to us. But the main keynote of the Magic series—camera plus AI—has not changed.

In 2014 Huawei created the sub brand Honor and offers certain smartphone series under this name. Occasionally the products are also called Huawei Honor.

The market share of Honor products is manageable, but there are several reviews on Honor smartphones with average ratings (as of 2016).

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

Qualcomm Adreno 830: Integrated graphics unit in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC for smartphones with three slices with 1.1 GHz each. Integrated 12 MB shared cache for the three slices. According to Qualcomm, 40% faster than the previous generation (Adreno 750).

Qualcomm Adreno 840: Integrated graphics unit in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC for smartphones with three slices at 1.2 GHz each. According to Qualcomm, 23% faster than the previous generation (Adreno 830).
