Vivo iQOO 15 Ultra
ⓘ Notebookcheck (Marcus Herbrich)
The Vivo iQOO 15 Ultra is reviewed as a performance-focused flagship that pairs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with high-end storage, a 144 Hz OLED display, and an unusually integrated cooling fan. Review scores place it in very good territory, while its gaming ambitions, large battery, and competitive €800 price are weighed against design compromises and limited everyday necessity for active cooling.

Pros

+ Flagship Snapdragon performance
+ Integrated cooling fan
+ Large 7400mAh battery
+ Sharp 144Hz OLED
+ Fast UFS storage
+ Competitive €800 price

Cons

- Heavy 227g body
- Fan seems unnecessary
- Feature trade-offs noted
- Limited warranty period

The Vivo iQOO 15 Ultra is positioned as a gaming-oriented flagship with a strong focus on sustained performance. It uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform with Adreno 840 graphics, fast UFS 4.1 storage, and configurations reported with up to 24 GB of RAM. The phone features a 6.85-inch OLED display with a 3168 x 1440 resolution, HDR support, and a 144 Hz refresh rate. A built-in cooling fan is its most unusual feature, intended to stabilize performance during demanding gaming sessions. The device also includes a 7400 mAh silicon-carbon battery, wireless and fast charging, 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Android 16, and a triple 50 MP rear camera system. With review scores around 90 percent and a listed price of €800, it is presented as a strong-value flagship despite its weight and questioned cooling design.

Reviews for the Vivo iQOO 15 Ultra

89.6% A unique feature no smartphone needs: Vivo iQOO 15 Ultra review | Notebookcheck
Vivo's new flagship killer is designed with gaming and strong performance in mind. To achieve this, it combines a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with 24 GB of RAM and even integrates a fan into the smartphone's chassis. Unfortunately, this comes at the cost of one great feature, although the affordable price remains unchanged.
