Honor has now started selling the Magic V2 in the UK, another competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5. While the Honor Magic V2 is only £50 cheaper than its Samsung rival on the face of it, various launch discounts bring Honor's foldable to as low as £1,199.99 before factoring a complimentary pair of Bang & Olufsen headphones that retail for £459.

Honor has now begun selling the Magic V2 globally, which will soon be joined by the Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design. For context, the company outlined European pricing and pre-order bundles earlier this month. Conversely, it decided to keep UK equivalents quiet until release day, with it hosting an opportunity to win a Magic V2 handset for £1 by correctly guessing from one of three launch prices.

With the Magic V2 retailing for €1,999 in the Eurozone, it should come as no surprise to learn that the handset will be available for about as much in the UK. Specifically, Honor has priced the Magic V2 at £1,699 in the UK with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. Thus, while the Magic V2 is only £50 cheaper than the Galaxy Z Fold5, Samsung charges £1,849 for SKUs with the same storage as the Magic V2.

However, Honor is also running various launch deals that reduce the Magic V2 to as low as £1,199.99. On the one hand, the company is running a trade-in program with a £200 discount applied at the point of sale. On the other hand, it is offering a £200 voucher code, AV2EB200, which can be added to the £200 trade-in discount and will be available until March 1. Alternatively, students registered with UNiDAYS can receive a different voucher code worth £300, which, combined with the £200 trade-in discount, brings the Magic V2 down to £1,199.99.

Moreover, all orders are eligible to claim a pair of Bang & Olufsen Beocom Portal headphones, which retail for £459, and a complimentary 66 W charger. On top of that, Honor will repair the handset's internal and external displays for free within the first 12 months of ownership. For reference, the Magic V2 is orderable in the UK from Honor directly, plus Amazon, Argos, Currys and Very or Three from February 2.
