The Hisense PT1 4K TriChoma Laser Cinema is now available in markets worldwide. Unveiled earlier this year alongside the M2 Pro projector, this model is designed for the home cinema.
Hisense’s new PT1 projector uses the brand’s LPU digital triple laser light source, which is said to deliver up to 2,500 ANSI lumens brightness. The brightness is automatically adjusted based on the environment, and the model covers 110% of the BT.2020 color gamut. It has a 3,000:1 native contrast ratio and there are AI tools to enhance clarity and color. It can deliver images with a 4K (3K) resolution between 80 and 150 inches wide, and it supports 3D content. The image can be quickly perfected with automatic screen alignment. Plus, the projector supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, IMAX Enhanced and Filmmaker Mode.
The PT1 also has gaming features like auto low latency mode (ALLM) and MEMC motion smoothing, and ports including HDMI and USB-A. The projector runs on Vidaa OS, through which you can access many streaming apps, and it works with Vidaa voice commands. Plus, it can sync with smart home systems like Control4, allowing you to control other devices. On top of this, there are integrated dual 15W top-firing and dual 8W up-firing speakers, compatible with Dolby Atmos.
You can now buy the Hisense PT1 4K TriChoma Laser Cinema in the UK at retailers like visunext for £2,399. In Australia, it retails for A$3,499, and in other European countries like Germany, the projector is available for €2,499 at retailers like Heimkinoraum.
Update: Amended mis-type of 3K resolution for 4K resolution.
