Here’s what you'll pay to fix a cracked Galaxy Z Fold 8 screen, up to $639

Samsung has confirmed official screen repair prices for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series, and getting the inner folding display fixed is not going to be cheap. Replacing the inner screen costs $639 on the Z Fold 8 Ultra, $579 on the standard Z Fold 8, and $359 on the Z Flip 8.
The inner screen is the most expensive part to fix because of how complex folding display technology is. On a premium Fold model, a damaged inner screen can end up costing almost as much as a mid-range phone. Outer screen repairs are far less painful by comparison, priced at $149 for the Z Fold 8 Ultra, $139 for the Z Fold 8, and $129 for the Z Flip 8.
These prices are also up from last year. In the US, a Z Fold7 inner screen repair cost $449, and a Z Flip7 inner screen repair cost $249, both well below what the Z Fold 8 series costs now. Outer screen pricing, on the other hand, has stayed close to flat year over year. It's worth noting that repair categories aren't always identical between model years, so these comparisons aren't a perfect one-to-one match.
Pricing also changes a lot depending on where you live. In Europe, a Z Fold7 inner screen repair ran about €761, or roughly $890, notably higher than the US price at the time, while the outer screen cost around €525, or about $611.
For anyone worried about these costs, Samsung Care+ is still the main way to bring them down, offering monthly or yearly plans with a lower deductible per repair instead of paying the full out-of-warranty price.
