HP bills its new OmniStudio AIO desktop PCs as "next-gen AI experiences." It has equipped the new desktop PCs with both AMD and Intel's latest mid-range processors as well as a 100 Hz QHD display option on the 27-inch model.

Ever-ready to ride the AI hype train, HP has just launched its latest OmniStudio AIO computers, boasting about the "AI-enhanced performance" of the new OmniStudio 23.8 and OmniStudio 27. (Older OmniStudios had AI features, too.) The new Intel and AMD CPUs aren't even the most interesting part of the new 24-inch and 27-inch AIOs.

Both the 27-inch and 23.8-inch variants of the HP OmniStudio AIOs have the same ports selection: 2x USB Type-C 20 Gbps, 1x USB Type-A, 2x USB Type-A 2.0, 1x HDMI 2.0, a single RJ45 port and a 3.5 mm headphone and microphone combo jack. Both versions of the AIO also offer 1080p webcams with optional IR support, stereo speakers, height-adjustable stands, and up to 2 TB of PCIe NVMe storage via an M.2 slot.

HP OmniStudio 23.8

As HP painfully calls out in the name, the OmniStudio 23.8 is a 23.8-inch desktop all-in-one PC, and, much like its bigger sibling, it is also available with both AMD and Intel processors. The OmniStudio 23.8 will be available with the Intel Core Ultra 7 255H or Core Ultra 5 225H, along with their respective Intel Arc 140T or 130T iGPUs paired to between 8 GB and 32 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM — caveat emptor for prospective buyers: only the 32 GB RAM configuration is dual-channel, and single-channel RAM configurations make the Arc iGPU function in the slower Intel Graphics mode.

On the AMD side, HP has opted to cap out the CPU department with the AMD Ryzen 5 220 (6 CPU cores, Radeon 740M iGPU).

The display on the new OmniStudio 23.8 isn't quite as nice as the options available on the OmniStudio 27, but the 24-inch AIO still offers both a non-touch 100 Hz FHD option and a touch-enabled 75 Hz FHD option. Both display options have a rated brightness of 350 nits and 100% coverage of the sRGB colour space.

The biggest difference between the OmniStudio 27 and its smaller sibling is the display. Aside from the obvious size increase, the 27-inch display also gets bumped up to 1440p, although the touch-enabled option is limited to 1080p like the 23.8-inch model.

While the same Intel and AMD CPUs are available for both AIO sizes, the RAM load-out is slightly better on the 27-inch version, with both 16 and 32 GB options offering dual-channel memory, which enables faster iGPU performance on AMD iGPUs and allows the Intel iGPU to operate at the full Arc spec.

HP has not yet announced pricing or exact launch dates for the new desktop AIO PCs, although they will likely be available soon after CES 2026.
