HP OmniStudio X All-In-One launches as iMac competitor with 32-inch 4K display, GeForce RTX 4050 and AI features
With the OmniStudio X, HP is introducing an alternative to the Apple iMac, which is equipped with either a 27-inch or a 31.5-inch IPS panel. The 32-inch model always has full 4K resolution, while buyers can choose between a 1080p and a 4K display for the smaller model.
The All-In-One is available with either an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H or a Core Ultra 7 155H, and optionally with a Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU with 6 GB of graphics memory, which should enable the device to display most current games smoothly in 1080p resolution at a medium to high level of detail. HP also installs a maximum 2 TB SSD and up to 32 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM.

A special feature is the 5-MP webcam, which can be pushed into the housing when not in use in order to protect privacy. The camera allows for login to Windows via facial recognition and has an AI feature that automatically locks Windows when the user moves away from the desk and brings it out of standby mode when the user comes near.
AI noise reduction is designed to improve image quality, while Adaptive Audio promises better sound. The OmniStudio X has a total of four USB-A ports (10 Gbit/s), two USB-C ports, HDMI 1.4 and Ethernet. An additional HDMI 2.1 port allows the All-In-One to be used as an external monitor. Depending on the configuration, the OmniStudio X supports either WiFi 6, WiFi 6E or WiFi 7 as well as Bluetooth 5.3 or Bluetooth 5.4.
Pricing and availability
The HP OmniStudio X is expected to be launched at the beginning of August at HP.com for a starting price of $1,449.99.
