HP Envy is an elegant product line and packs a punch in the specification department. The sleek metal finish and crystal-like gloss of the display panel is something to be envied by other manufactures. The same can be said about the HP Envy 15-j151sr, with its touch screen capability. It is simply a stunning laptop. Its gorgeous 15.6 inch FHD BrightView LED panel has superb colors.
Inside, you'll find an Intel Core i7-4702MQ 6MB cache quad-core processor clocked at 2.2 Ghz with Intel HD Graphics 4600. This powerful core is supported by 8 GB 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM and Nvidia GeForce GT 750M with 4GB DDR dedicated VRAM. A 1TB hard disk makes the powerhouse complete. Even audio quality is kept in check with 4 speakers and 2 subwoofers riding the Beats Audio technology.
It is a joy to type on the full-size, island-style keyboard with backlight. Other hardware includes a multi-format SD card reader, HDMI output, 4 USB 3.0 ports. The devices weighs around 2.56 kg. Battery life is good with the 6-cell li-ion battery.
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M: Upper mid-range graphics card of the GeForce GT 700M series. Based on the Kepler architecture and manufactured by TSMC in a 28nm process.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

Intel Core i7: The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo mode, the cores can dynamically overclock to up to 3.2 GHz (920XM). Therefore, the CPU can be as fast as high clocked dual-core CPUs (using single threaded applications) but still offer the advantage of 4 cores. Because of the large TDP of 45 W / 55 W, the CPU is only intended for large laptops.
4702MQ: Haswell-based quad-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz with Turbo Boost support up to 3.2 GHz. Offers an integrated HD Graphics 4600 GPU and a dual channel DDR3 memory controller.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.
15.60":
15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.

With this weight, a laptop is rather heavier than average. Devices in this range shine more with screen size and performance than with mobility.
