Reviews for the HP EliteBook x360 1040 G11

87.2% HP Elite x360 1040 G11 2-in-1 review: For the business road warrior | Notebookcheck
The HP Elite 1000 family is lauded for its portability and auxiliary features that business users can appreciate. The latest Elite x360 1040 G11 continues the trend, but a bigger cooling solution probably wouldn't hurt to keep those core temperatures down.
This fantastic 2-in-1 laptop will satisfy business professionals and creatives alike (and it's on sale)

The HP Elitebook x360 is easy to recommend for business users, particularly those who can buy the laptop in bulk, as it's fairly pricey at a starting rate of $2,029. My review unit costs $2,299. Again, this is not meant for the everyday consumer, but I recommend it to enterprising users and folks who want a durable, secure, and reliable laptop for work. For more traditional users, I'd recommend the Acer Swift 14, which fields a similar display size, battery life, and performance but at a more affordable price.

The 2-in-1 laptop I recommend for the office is not a Dell or a Lenovo ThinkPad

Intel Arc 8-Core: Integrated graphics adapter based on the Xe LPG architecture (similar to the dedicated Arc GPUs, but with a focus on efficiency). Provides all 8 Xe cores (128 Xe vector engines) and 8 ray tracing units.

With these GPUs you are able to play modern and demanding games fluently at medium detail settings and HD resolution.

Ultra 7 165H: A high-end Meteor Lake family chip that debuted in December 2023. Its Performance cores, of which there are 6, run at up to 5.0 GHz and are HT-enabled while its Efficient cores, of which there are 10 (8 main cores plus 2 extra ones found in the Low Power Island) run at up to 3.8 GHz. The integrated AI Boost NPU offers two Gen 3 engines for hardware AI workload acceleration. vPro Enterprise and business-centric features such as the Remote Platform Erase are onboard as well. This laptop processor's Base power consumption is 28 W while its Turbo power consumption is not supposed to go over 115 W.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.

14.00":

There are hardly any tablets in this display size range anymore. For subnotebooks, on the other hand, it is the standard format.

The advantage of subnotebooks is that the entire laptop can be small and therefore easily portable. The smaller display also has the advantage of requiring less power, which further improves battery life and thus mobility. The disadvantage is that reading texts is more strenuous on the eyes. High resolutions are more likely to be found in standard laptops.

HP: Founded in 1939, the US company is a major server and printer manufacturer and one of the leading IT companies in the world. Until 2015, the company was called Hewlett-Packard Company. After a split, the computer division was renamed HP Inc.

In 2023, HP had an approximate market share of 22% of global PC sales, making it number 2 after Lenovo.

87.2%: This is an above-average rating. Nevertheless, it should not be forgotten that about one fifth of all tested models receive a better rating.
