UserBenchmark has confirmed that the EliteBook 835 G9 will ship with AMD Ryzen PRO 6000U processors, potentially up to the Ryzen 7 PRO 6850U. The EliteBook 835 G9 should be available in April alongside other EliteBook refreshes.

Last month, HP unveiled the EliteBook 835 G9, a 13.3-inch business laptop with a 16:10 display. Initially, HP confirmed that the EliteBook 835 G9 would ship with Ryzen PRO 6000 series processors, albeit without stating which APUs would be available. However, a UserBenchmark listing has provided a few insights into the upcoming machine.

As the screenshot below shows, someone has benchmarked the EliteBook 835 G9 with a Ryzen 7 PRO 6850U, AMD's flagship PRO 6000U APU. For reference, the company has also created PRO 6000H and PRO 6000HS parts that integrate the Radeon 660M or Radeon 680M, depending on the APU. According to AMD, the Ryzen 7 PRO 6850U has a 4.7 GHz maximum boost clock, 8 cores, 16 threads and a 15 W to 28 W configurable TDP.

Additionally, UserBenchmark reports that the EliteBook 835 G9 has an HP 8990 motherboard, 16 GB of RAM and a 1,920 x 1,200-pixel display. HP states that the EliteBook 835 G9 will be available in April. Unfortunately, the company has not published pricing for any EliteBook 835 G9 SKUs yet. Presumably, HP will do so towards the end of March or in early April.
