HP has unveiled an upgraded version of the Spectre x360 13, now available with Intel Alder Lake processors. While Dell managed to include 28 W parts in its XPS 13 Plus, HP has settled 15 W alternatives with the Core i5-1235U and Core i7-1255U. Also, this year's Spectre x360 13 features LPDDR4 RAM and PCIe Gen4 storage, plus a 66 Wh battery that HP rates for up to 16 hours of 'mixed usage'.
Moreover, HP offers this year's Spectre x360 13 in Nightfall Black, Nocturne Blue and Natural Silver colour options. As with previous Spectre x360 models, Nightfall Black features Pale Brass accents, whereas Nocturne Blue includes Celestial Blue accents. Moreover, the Spectre x360 13 comes with three display options, two of which being IPS panels that output at 1,920 x 1,280 pixels. In comparison, HP also provides a 3K OLED option that peaks at 500 nits when viewing HDR content with 100% DCI-P3 colour space coverage.
