Gaming accessories maker GuliKit has released official anti-drift joystick replacement modules for the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X, based on its newer TMR technology. The company is already well known for budget-friendly controllers like the ES Pro for Switch 2 (curr: $29.99 at Amazon), as well as Hall effect and TMR-based joystick kits for controllers and gaming handhelds, including the Nintendo Switch and ROG Ally.
While there aren’t many stick-drift complaints about the ROG Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X yet, both still use traditional potentiometer joysticks that are known to drift over time. GuliKit previously released Hall effect replacement kits for the ROG Ally X, but the new ROG Xbox Ally (X) modules use the company’s latest TMR joystick technology, which not only prevents stick drift but also promises finer and more precise input than Hall effect alternatives.
Designed in partnership with Asus, the joystick modules are fully plug-and-play on the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X, with no soldering required. According to GuliKit, they match the exact dimensions of the original joysticks, with only a quick calibration needed after installation. The replacement modules are available now on Amazon for $19.99.
