Deal | December 2025 game giveaway lineup expands as four free games unlock on Amazon Luna
Earlier in December 2025, Amazon announced that it would give away a total of 14 free games throughout the month through Luna. So far, five freebies have become available, and on December 18, 2025, four more have been added.
Among the new free games, Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus is one of the highlights. It's a 2.5D hand-drawn action platformer that's inspired by Japanese folklore. The game is praised for its movement mechanics, which make it fun to traverse around, but its combat system can feel a bit unrefined.
Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus generally costs $19.99 when there's no sale in place, and Amazon is giving away a GOG code. On Steam, it has over 1,100 player reviews, and among them, 82% are positive, making the game achieve the "Very Positive" overall rating. It also comes with proper controller support (GameSir Super Nova wireless curr. $49.99 on Amazon).
Gunslugs 2 is another free game that has been recently added to the lineup. It's an indie platformer that offers an enjoyable arcade-style gameplay. However, the sudden difficulty spikes are seen as a downside by many players. This current freebie goes for $9.99 when not on sale, and Amazon is offering a GOG code for $0 on Luna.
Moving to the third free game, it's Ashworld, a 2017 post-apocalyptic game that's full of challenges. It's praised for having diverse open-world elements, but the resource management system can feel off to many. Ashworld currently has a 52% positive rating on Steam, and it typically costs $14.99. Eligible users can score a GOG code from Amazon.
Lastly, Amazon has added Forgotten Realms: The Archives - Collection Three into the lineup. It's a bundle that was released in 2022, and it offers games that are set in the D&D universe. On Steam, it holds a "Very Positive" Player rating, and usually, it costs $5.99. Amazon is offering a GOG code to eligible users for free on Luna.
