Google Pixel 10a: New mid-range smartphone now official with release date confirmed too

Google has officially teased the Pixel 10a, just hours after Evan Blass posted an extensive leak showcasing the same device on X. So far, the company has only offered an early look at its next mid-range smartphone. Specifically, it has published a 15-second clip across its social media channels, the YouTube version of which we have embedded below.
Currently, Google has not revealed any technical details about its Pixel 9a successor. Nonetheless, we can glean a few details as to how Google has decided to distinguish the Pixel 10a from its predecessor (curr. $399 on Amazon). For instance, the new mid-range smartphone adopts a completely flat rear camera design as opposed to the slight lip that Google included with the Pixel 9a.
With that being said, the dual-camera system of last year's model returns. The video also implies that the Pixel 10a will be available in a deeper shade than the Iris, which Google offers the Pixel 9a. Google will open Pixel 10a pre-orders on February 18. In the meantime, its tagline 'a phone with more in store, in store soon' indicates that the company plans to reveal more device details within the next fortnight. Please see the video below for more details.
