Goatman abomination and drowned raiders: Full leaked Diablo 4 artbook gives gamers an idea of what to expect by 2021

Diablo is an immensely popular series, demonstrated by the fact that Diablo 3 was the fastest-selling PC game ever when it was released in 2012, with 3.5 million copies sold in its first 24 hours of being on the shelves. So it’s no surprise that news about Diablo 4 has intensified lately, especially with Blizzard finally making its existence official. However, even though we now have a gameplay trailer and character classifications for Diablo 4, there are still many fans craving more details or information, which is understandable considering how long it could be before the game actually gets released. One fan has decided to upload pages from the recently leaked Diablo 4 artwork book to help others get their Diablo fix.
The pages cover concept art for a number of hideous antagonists, such as the Goatman Fighter and Goatman Sorcerer, and it’s likely players will eventually find themselves face to face with murderous cultists. A particularly menacing Goatman Abomination looks set to be a boss, and there is a stunning painted battle scene featuring hordes of the Goatmen just waiting for a hero to pick off. There's even one image that especially looks like it could be a screenshot from the game itself (see below), which if it is clearly shows the detailed and dark direction the Diablo 4 team is taking.
The horrifying scenes make it clear that Diablo 4 is going to be gut-wrenching and frightening, which should delight fans of the series. There also seems to be something of a big reveal for the game series, with the new main boss Lilith holding Diablo’s skull in her hands. Unfortunately, gamers will still have a long wait to see whether this means the Daughter of Hatred is now the Prime Evil or not, as development on the title could take another year or two yet.
