Diablo 4 becomes more of a reality thanks to the appearance of the Daughter of Hatred
We recently reported on a leaked Diablo artbook that hinted at the forthcoming release of Diablo 4 (or Diablo IV for the purists). The book itself is not supposed to be released until November 3, but it appears someone has managed to get a look at it beforehand and has uploaded a somewhat crucial image for those keen to hear news about the long-awaited sequel.
A Twitter user called WeakAurus has posted a screenshot (see below) of a page about a game character called Lilith. Hardcore Diablo fans will know that Lilith has appeared in the popular series before, when she turned up in the Pandemonium Event for Diablo 2 (as stated in the leaked page). In between the brief biography of the Daughter of Hatred and some information about the artwork relating to her, there is a very revealing sentence that will get Diablo fanatics hot under the collar:
Lilith’s debut in Diablo IV is a reimagining of her form that is far different from her previous appearance.
So there it is in black and white, Diablo 4 seemingly confirmed, presuming that the screenshot is completely legitimate. Hopefully all will be revealed at the BlizzCon 2019 Show in a few days. It’s been a long wait for Diablo enthusiasts, with Diablo 3 initially being released for Windows and macOS back in 2012.
