Eyesafe has announced that it has deemed 5 Gigabyte monitors up to its TÜV Rheinland standard for blue-light reduction. This, then, is the first time the OEM has attained this certification, which it can now slap on the existing or upcoming devices' marketing material.
All 5 of the displays are of the Aorus gaming series, and include the FI32Q, M32Q, M28U and G24F. The last 2 have the same basic design, although the M28U is the only one with HDMI 2.1 support, a 4K/144Hz panel and an additiional VESA DisplayHDR400 certification.
Eyesafe has also thus inadvertently announced that the imminent FI32U will conform to the TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe Display Standard at its launch. This monitor will have a 32-inch UHD IPS panel with 95% DCI-P3 coverage and 123% of the sRGB space. However, neither Aorus nor its new cerfication partner has revealed its price quite yet.
