The split personality laptop that's part powerful creative workstation, part gaming laptop. Plenty of people hop between these two worlds, so that the Aero 15 isnt a portability disaster is a little bit magic. Its fans are a little erratic under low pressure and the display hinge could be stiffer, but it's otherwise very impressive at delivering for both worlds.

Our first taste of mobile Ampere ultimately suggests that while Nvidia's latest architecture proved revolutionary on desktop, similar gains are going to be tough to achieve within the tighter confines of a laptop. As powerful as Gigabyte's Aero 15 OLED is, the performance increase over previous models arguably isn't enough to command such a lavish fee, and we'd like to see the manufacturer be clearer in outlining its GPU specifications.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU: High-End laptop graphics card based on the Ampere GA104 chip. At the time of the launch in early 2021, the 3080 is the fastest laptop graphics card on the market.
These graphics cards are able to play the latest and most demanding games in high resolutions and full detail settings with enabled Anti-Aliasing.

i9-10980HK: On Comet Lake architecture based processor for big and heavy laptops. Integrates eight processor cores clocked at 3.1 - 5 GHz that support HyperThreading. Manufactured in an improved 14nm process (14nm++). At the time of announcement, the i9-10980HK is the fastest Comet Lake-H CPU and fastest laptop CPU on the market. The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.
