Garmin has announced the first beta update for the Lily 2 Active smartwatch. This model launched in October as a health and fitness tracking wearable with built-in GPS. Now, beta version 3.01 brings a new feature and other improvements to the product.
The change log notes that this software update brings support for the Auto Pause feature, automatically pausing your time when you stop moving or slow to a predefined lower speed. There are fixes for bugs relating to Garmin Coach and the sleep widget. Plus, Garmin states that it has sorted out other UI issues, though it does not provide further details. Alongside beta version 3.01 are Sensor Hub version 32.29, Text Languages version 3.01 and GCM Translations version 3.01.
This beta update for the Lily 2 Active smartwatch is being pushed to eligible wearables automatically. The company says that the wearable will check for the software daily. It is worth noting that the Gamin Lily 2 has its own beta program, with the last update arriving earlier in November. The Lily 2 Active is currently available at Amazon for $299.99.
