Garmin is improving health-related features like Body Battery, sleep tracking and the new Health Status glance. These enhancements appear to be rolling out to users of some of the brand’s smartwatches in the Garmin Connect smartphone app.
According to a recent report by Garmin Rumors, explanations around your recent sleep score patterns, sleep quality and monthly trends have been optimized. The blog suggests that the refreshed wording gives users “clearer breakdowns” of these metrics and other measurements.
The Body Battery page also appears to have been redesigned. Garmin users can view their average daily increases and decreases in energy levels, with monthly peaks highlighted. Plus, there are also contextual insights, such as the frequency with which you experienced high Body Battery scores.
On top of this, there are new tips for the Health Status glance, which arrived with the Garmin Venu 4 smartwatch (curr. $549.99 at Amazon). Users are now reminded that, to accurately calibrate this feature, they need to consistently track their sleep. It is unclear when these sleep tracking, Body Battery and Health Status related improvements will reach all eligible users of Garmin devices.
