Garmin has issued a new beta update for the Lily 2 Active smartwatch. Software version 5.06 arrives several months after the 5.05 release, which fixed issues related to step progress, stress alerts and the weather data shwn on the watch face.
Lily 2 Active software version 5.06 also brings bug fixes to the smartwatch, released in 2024. This stable update tackles an issue linked to the device passcode feature. In some cases, users could not reset the wearable after too many incorrect password attempts. A problem with the strength activity, where status and metrics were not converted as expected, has been resolved. Garmin has also tackled several issues related to the watch’s calendar, though it has not provided further details here.
The final note in the software version 5.06 change log states that Garmin has fixed the ANATEL e-label, a mark which must be shown on telecommunications devices sold in Brazil. In a recent post on the Garmin forum, a representative for the brand stated that this release was now available for all users of the Lily 2 Active smartwatch (curr. $299.99 at Amazon). The update can be downloaded and installed via Garmin Express or Garmin Connect Mobile.
