Galaxy Buds 3 Pro get global firmware update

Samsung has begun rolling out a new firmware update for the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, its flagship earbuds released in 2024. Firmware version R630XXU0AZG2 amounts to just 8.28MB and was initially released in South Korea in mid-July before expanding to additional markets, and now appears to be available worldwide. The company rarely issues firmware for its earbuds, so updates tend to be modest in scope rather than feature-packed.
True to this pattern, the update only focuses on improving stability and reliability rather than introducing any changes or new features. A similar update may also be planned for the standard Galaxy Buds 3, though this hasn't been officially confirmed. Users whose earbuds already have the AZG2 firmware installed do not need to take any further action.
To install the update, users can open the Galaxy Wearable app and proceed as follows: Earbuds settings > Earbuds software update > Download and install. Meanwhile, hearing aid functionality is reportedly coming to the earbuds soon.
