After a round of teasers, GMK has finally revealed the affordable M6 Ultra mini PC. Priced at just above $200 for the barebones variant, the Ryzen 5 7640HS-powered mini PC packs a healthy number of ports including dual 2.5G Ethernet.

Companies love to tease their products prior to launch, and GMK is no exception. The prominent mini PC brand recently teased yet another affordable mini PC, dubbed the M6 Ultra. Now, the budget-oriented system with AMD prowess has finally been fully revealed, and the specifications do appear rather promising considering the price.

At its core, the GMK M6 Ultra mini PC will be powered by the decently capable six-core AMD Ryzen 5 7640HS APU paired with 16 GB of DDR5 memory in the base config. A member of the Zen 4-based "Phoenix" family, the Ryzen 5 7640HS is still a perfectly admirable chip more than two years after launch, and is roughly in the same league as the Intel Core Ultra 7 256V chip in synthetic benchmarks. The Radeon 760M iGPU packs quite a punch as well, and should be enough for some very light gaming.

The port selection is quite generous, packing USB4, USB 2.0, dual USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, USB 2.0 Type-A, dual 2.5G Ethernet, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, and an audio jack. The memory can be upgraded to a whopping 128 GB, and the storage can be upgraded to 8 TB thanks to dual M.2 2280 slots. Wireless networking will be taken care of by WiFi 6. The mini PC lacks OCuLink - which isn't a massive surprise considering the pricing. The USB4 port is capable of handling eGPUs, albeit at slower speeds.

GMK has also revealed the pricing details for the budget mini PC. The base variant of the M6 Ultra will ship with 16 GB of memory and 512 GB storage, and will command a price tag of 1999 Yuan, or roughly $280. A barebones variant is also available, priced at 1499 Yuan ($208). Considering the specifications on offer, the M6 Ultra mini PC sure is priced rather attractively. A global launch is yet to be announced, but it is certainly not unlikely.

More powerful alternative with OCuLink support: Aoostar GEM12+ with the 8-core, 16-thread Ryzen 7 PRO 8845HS APU (Currently $359 on Amazon).
