Samsung is not expected to officially announce successors to the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 (curr. $1,399.99 on Amazon) until early next month. However, one of its many subsidiaries appears to have jumped the gun by showing both devices, the photo of which we have reproduced above and below. According to multiple sources, Samsung Kazakhstan briefly posted the promotional image on its website, which was promptly saved by Redditors and leakers like @chunvn8888 before being taken down.
Unfortunately, no source has provided a link to the page on Samsung Kazakhstan's website or a screenshot showing the broader context in which the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Z Fold6 were advertised. As such, we cannot entirely rule out the image being faked in one or another. With that being said, the design of the Galaxy Z Fold6 matches other recent leaks in which prototype and dummy units were shown.
Specifically, a more angular design than the Galaxy Z Fold5 can be seen. Likewise, Samsung has included a more prominent camera housing, despite other rumours suggesting that the Galaxy Z Fold6 will retain its predecessor's underlying camera sensors. Moreover, Samsung has transitioned to a speaker slot rather than a speaker grille, which matches the Galaxy S24 Ultra. By contrast, the Galaxy Z Flip6 contains fewer changes, with colour-matching camera rings the only noticeable visual difference from last year's model. Currently, Samsung is anticipated to unveil both devices on July 10 alongside the Galaxy Watch7 series and the Galaxy Watch Ultra but not the Galaxy Watch FE.
