Previously available via Firefox Labs, the AI chatbot for Firefox is finally rolling out to all users (albeit progressively). Released yesterday, Firefox 135 brings AI to Windows, macOS, and Linux. This feature allows the user to take advantage of more than just one chatbot option, since the list of choices includes Claude, Gemini, HuggingChat, Le Chat Mistral, as well as ChatGPT. While it took Mozilla a while to bring these capabilities to the masses, nobody can complain about the lack of choices now.
In addition to the AI chatbot, Firefox 135 also comes with a credit card information autofill feature, improved language support for Firefox Translations (Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Korean available to be translated, while Russian has been added as a new target language), and enhanced security via certificate transparency enforcing (only affecting servers with certificates issued by an authority enrolled in Mozilla's Root CA Program) alongside CRLite certificate revocation checking. Linux and macOS users can now close only the current tab when using the Quit keyboard shortcut while having multiple tabs open.
On the other hand, Firefox for Android only receives minor bug fixes and quality improvements, as well as automatic crash reporting. Those using the browser on iOS devices get an interface redesign that improves the pull-to-refresh experience, as well as better performance and voice-over support, as well as navigation improvements alongside minor tweaks such as updated icons and theming fixes.

In my early school days, I hated writing and having to make up stories. A decade later, I started to enjoy it. Since then, I published a few offline articles and then I moved to the online space, where I contributed to major websites that are still present online as of 2021 such as Softpedia, Brothersoft, Download3000, but I also wrote for multiple blogs that have disappeared over the years. I've been riding with the Notebookcheck crew since 2013 and I am not planning to leave it anytime soon. In love with good mechanical keyboards, vinyl and tape sound, but also smartphones, streaming services, and digital art.
