EcoFlow has launched the Rapid Pro Charger (140W, 4 Ports, GaN) in Europe. This accessory arrives a few weeks after the brand launched a range of power banks, including the Rapid Mag Power Bank.
As its name suggests, the Rapid Pro Charger can be used to charge four devices simultaneously. The first two USB-C ports offer up to 140W power each, with the third USB-C and the USB-A ports delivering up to 30W output. When all four ports are in use, one USB-C provides 65W, another has 45W, with the remaining USB-C and USB-A sharing 18W. According to EcoFlow, the maximum 140W output should allow you to charge a MacBook Pro 13 fully in around two hours, or the EcoFlow Rapid Pro 27K Power Bank to 80% in 40 minutes.
There is support for various fast charging protocols, including PD3.1, PPS, and QC 3.0. Temperature control technology is said to take measurements 10,000,000 times a day, with the charger's power output reduced to avoid overheating. The silver accessory has been tested for 5,000 plug and unplug cycles, and is drop resistant to 1 m (~3.3 ft). It measures 67 x 63 x 31 mm (~2.6 x 2.5 x 1.2 inches) and weighs 220 g (~7.8 oz). According to EcoFlow, this makes its 36% smaller than the equivalent 140W Apple charger.
You can currently buy the new EcoFlow Rapid Pro Charger (140W, 4 Ports, GaN) at the brand's online store in Europe for £69.99/€69.99 thanks to the Summer Sale discount.
