Baseus launches new affordable mini charger with 45 W fast charging support

Baseus has introduced a new mini charger in China. Called the PicoGo AN12, it features a compact form factor, measuring 35.53 x 35.53 x 42.33 mm. This size makes it a smaller competitor to the Anker Nano II. Now, while it's small in size, there's support for 45 W fast charging.

The company highlights that this 45 W fast charging support can get the iPhone 16 Pro from 0% to 65% in just 35 minutes, though the phone maxes out at around 30 W. Now, while the charger is said to feature the same charging controller that Apple uses, it's compatible with a broad range of devices.

Specifically, there's support for PD 3.0, QC 3.0, AFC, FCP, and PPS. Thanks to this wide compatibility with charging protocols, the power brick works with Android devices and even low-powered accessories.

To ensure stable charging, Baseus has integrated multiple protection features, including overvoltage and overcurrent protections. The charger's chassis is also said to have a heat dissipation structure, which can seemingly keep the power brick cool during charging.

Among the other highlights of this Baseus charger are a foldable plug, an AirGap design to keep the outer surface cool, and availability in two vibrant colors. The launch price in China is CNY 138, about $19. While Baseus has yet to share details on global availability of this version, the company already sells the standard variant of the charger in the international market (available on Amazon), but it doesn't come with the AirGap design or a foldable plug.
